The day of Locro (stew):
15 kilos of beef, pig skin, large intestine, sausage, cow stomach. 10 kilos
of corn. 5 kilos of beans. 10 kilos of squash. 2 huge pots. The fire starts at
7am before sunrise. Almost 200 people fed. By 2 in the afternoon the pots are
empty, the bellies are full, and the music and dancing does the rest.
