Poems from the Southern Punilla Valley. Córdoba, Argentina.
HARD-BACK LIMITED EDITION OF 10 NUMBERED COPIES.
First Edition. Poems from 2003-2004.
A collection of poems about the river, the seasons and the people that reflect life in the sierra valley I call home.
About the binding:
For this previously unpublished collection of poems, I sought a quiet design that would timelessly hold these words and images together. The illustration on the title page is by Eve Slinker. This limited edition is bound using a Flat Back Binding. Each folded section is sewn onto linen tapes before being case bound. 120 gram textured paper, cream colored. Deckled edges.
58 pages.
6.5 x 8.5 inches
Printed on an Epson Stylus Ink Jet printer.
Each book housed in a card-stock slip cover:

Jose
Jose
the stone mason
learned from his father
and grandfather
all the world is a stage
he can build
stone by stone
which he does
as they did
and
or
he can build
story by story
which makes for quite a foundation
such thick walls
even a solid roof
that not the wind, nor jealousy,
not the sun, nor gossip
can erode.
