We love the conversation.
I am originally from Oregon but I began binding books on a boat in Alaska, with the idea that
original literature should be accessible, both for the writer
and for the reader. After traveling half-way around the world
with a mini-bookbinding workshop on my back (including a typewriter),
and selling artists books on the streets and plazas of Latin
America, I now make them in our studio in Argentina, and offer
them through internet.
My artist's books can be found in the collections
at The Getty in LA, Brown University, University of Miami,
University of Washington, University of Vermont, Mills College,
UC Santa Barbara, Lafayette College, UC San Diego, Stanford
University, Yale University, Brown University, Williams College,
Wesleyan College, Smith College, UC Irvine, and Reed College, among other
places.
My writing reflects my well-traveled world and
daily experiences. It is recommended you taste the contents
of these books by reading the samples included in each listing,
(or by purchasing one, of course).Click titles to read and learn
more about these unique creations, 4 of which are also available
in Spanish.
