mining districts participate in the Pilot Project "Handmade Books".
Here are photos of the mining districts we visited.
We did not physically go to Tatasi, Siete Suyos & Animas because
the women from these districts came to Atocha to participate in the workshops.

Below
the peak (the elephant's head), to the right, is the mining district of
TASNA ROSARIO at 4,800 meters/15,360 feet above sea level.
A 20 minute drive down from Tasna Rosario is the mining district TASNA RETIRO at 4,400 meters/14,080 feet above sea level. |
