As part of Transient Books, Alex Appella also offers limited, very special collections of our hand bound artist's books including poetry, stories, and other illustrated musings on our travels throughout the North and South American continents.

Transient Books began on a boat in Alaska before introducing its creations to the streets of Mexico and Central America. After traveling and binding for years, we now offer our handmade artist's books, blank journals and custom book binding services through our US distributor, as well as from our somewhat certain home in the sierras of Córdoba, Argentina.  We are a small family business at the end of a dirt road in the countryside, grateful everyday that we get to wake up each morning and create books.
